Robert Sorby Evening, Crailing Hall, Crailing.

Scottish Borders Woodturners hosted a demonstration evening, presented by Chris Pouncy and Peter Gill of Robert Sorby, the world's premier manufacturer of specialist wood working tools.

Chris provided the stand-up routine with some extremely entertaining and effective demonstrations of basic wood-turning techniques embellished by the quality and features of the Robert Sorby tools which he used throughout the evening.

After the demonstration, the raffle draw was made resulting in a number of the audience walking away with some very useful tools courtesy of Robert Sorby

Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits were served while the appreciative audience were given an opportunity to buy Robert Sorby tools available for the evening at substantial discount. The choices must have been agreeable since most people left with a Sorby "package" of some description.
